Margaret E. Jenkins

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Jenkins, 89, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. Mrs. Jenkins passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born June 10, 1918, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Willie and Fannie Quarles Scott. On October 22, 1944, she was married to the late Vernon Jenkins, who passed away April 16, 1990. She was a factory worker at Heavy Duty Mfg. Co., and a member of the Cubb Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: John Robert Scott. Survivors include 1 Son: Ward Jenkins of Whitleyville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Jennifer (Kevin) Bean of Lebanon, TN, Amanda Jenkins of Goodlettsville, TN, and Joshua Jenkins of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Anna Lovel Wilson-Chaffin of Carthage, TN.
