Memorial services for Mr. Marcus Wayne Bonds, 80, of Granville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church in Gainesboro, TN. He had chosen cremation. He passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019, at his residence. He was born April 13, 1939, in Corinth, Mississippi, to the late Alex Wright Bonds and Rema Beatrice Bonds. On December 12, 1982, he was married to Carolyn Bonds, who survives. He owned several grocery markets, and was a member of the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church. He was a sharecropper's son, and an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed duck hunting, and loved good country cooking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Alex, Jim Roy, and Cletus Bonds; and 1 Sister: Janice Padillo. Survivors include his Wife: Carolyn R. Bonds; 2 Sons: Greg Bonds and Corey Bonds; 2 Daughters: Rhonda L. Jordan and Lisa Moses; 4 Grandchildren: Joey Bonds, Alex Moses, Olivia Bonds, and Ethan Jordan; and 1 Great Grandchild: Carter Bonds.
