Funeral services for Mrs. Marcia Steves, 73, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 A.M. - 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at her residence in Gainesboro, TN. She was born May 25, 1941, in Glens Falls, New York, to the late John and Rose DeCrescente. On August 11, 1962, she was married to the late Michael James (Mike) Steves who passed away February 2, 2002. She was a waitress and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Paul DeCrescente and Joseph DeCrescente. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Karen (Jimmy) Davidson of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Candace (Chris) Nabors of Houston, TX and Emily Davidson of Cookeville, TN; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Annabell Nabors, McKenzie Nabors, and Elyza Nabors; 2 Brothers: Frank DeCrescente of Glens Falls, NY and John (Audrey) DeCrescente of Glens Falls, NY; and 2 Sisters: Sylvia Parker of Gainesboro, TN and Rose Ann Minard of Huntsville, AL.
