Memorial services for Marc Worthington, 69, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, in Cookeville, TN. He was born August 3, 1944, in Trenton, NJ, to the late Marcus B. Worthington, Sr. and Lucinda Dunk Worthington. He was a retired Trenton, New Jersey policeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Wives: Sandra Worthington and Fran Worthington; and 1 Brother: Edward Worthington. Survivors include 1 Son: Marcus Worthington III and wife, Lisa, of Lakeland, FL; 3 Daughters: Bonnie Thomas of Cookeville, TN, Peggie Herrin and husband, Adam, of Cookeville, TN, and Kim Harris of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: George Worthington of Vermont; 2 Sisters: Debbie Farris and husband, David, of PA, and Carrie Howard and husband, Rich, of PA; and 9 Grandchildren.
