Madge Haile

Funeral services for Mrs. Madge Haile, 90, of the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, December 14, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., Saturday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 11:30 A.M until time of services. Mrs. Haile passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born February 22, 1918, in Davidson County, TN, to the late Virgil and Vallie Jenkins Osgatharp. She was married to the late Jasper Carl Haile, Sr., who passed away March 14, 1973. She was a retired store and restaurant operator, and a member of the Flynns Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Ralph "Brownie" Osgatharp, Garth Leon Osgatharp and Phil Osgatharp. Survivors include 1 Son: Carl Haile of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Brothers: Roy Neal Osgatharp of Memphis, TN; and Joe Jenkins Osgatharp and wife, Wionea Osgatharp, of Little Rock, Arkansas; and 2 Sisters-in-law: Jane Osgatharp of Vermont; and Doris Haile of Elkhart, Indiana. Several Nieces & Nephews also survive. Bro. O'Neal Huffines, Bro. Randy Bybee, and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Flynns Creek Church of Christ or the Flynns Lick Community Center by contacting the funeral home.
