Mable Van Tassel

Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Christine Thomas Van Tassel, 77, of Livonia, Michigan, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, July 14, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Van Tassel passed away on Monday, July 11, 2005, at Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She was born December 3, 1927, in Jackson County to the late Denton Thomas and Dora Davidson Thomas. She was married to the late Roy Van Tassel. Mrs. Van Tassel was a housewife, and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include 1 Son: Darrell Van Tassel of Michigan; 2 Daughters: Wanda Novosel and Cheri France, both of Michigan; and 1 Brother: B.W. Thomas of Gainesboro, TN. Bro.
