Funeral services for Mr. Luke Holaway, 92, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. He was born December 23, 1922, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Dewey Hollaway and Rosie D. Caruthers Hollaway. On July 25, 1940, he was married to the late Molene Holaway, who passed away January 14, 2008. He was a farmer, and a member of the Beech Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Buddy and Donna Hollaway; 1 Son-in-Law: Charles E. Jones; 1 Grandson: Chris Hollaway; 1 Great Grandchild: J.E. Pippin; and 1 Brother: Harold Dean Hollaway. Survivors include 1 Son: Jr. (Dale) Hollaway of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Daughter: Rosa Jones Gore of Whitleyville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Tammy (Tim) Stafford and Danny Ray (Teresa) Jones, all of Whitleyville, TN; Carol Ann (Mike) Carr and Linda Sue (Greg) Pippin, all of Baxter, TN; and Lisa Braddon of Sparta, TN; and 7 Great Grandchildren: Heather, Eric, and Amber Stafford; Bethany and Alexis Jones; Lacey Pippin; and Justin Carr.
