Graveside services for Mrs. Lucille Raines, 88, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 Noon until time to leave for the cemetery. She passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019, at NHC Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born March 14, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Sam Ellis and Edna Bowman Ellis. She was married to the late Marshall Raines, who passed away March 30, 1990. She was a factory worker in the garment industry, and a member of the Dudneys Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Nancy Johnson; and 1 Great Great Grandson: Judah Massa. Survivors include 1 Son: Jeffrey M. (Brenda) Raines of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Diane Martin of Gainesboro, TN, and Linda Hamlet of Cookeville, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Barry Hamlet, Patrick (Whitney) Martin, Chad (Helena) Johnson, Derek Raines, and Jessica Raines; 6 Great Grandchildren: Sarah Massa, McKenzie Martin, Austin Johnson, Colin Johnson, Hannah Johnson, and Kaydee Martin; 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Ruthie Massa and Haegan Massa; and 1 Brother: Jim Ellis of MI.
