Lucille Meadows

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Meadows, 85, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynns Lick Community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born January 15, 1928, in Jackson County, TN, to the late John Thomas Davidson and Olda Bennett Davidson. On February 18, 1947, she was married to Grover Meadows, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the New Salem Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Kenneth Grover Meadows; 1 Sister: Earlene Hamlet; and 2 Brothers: Bernice Davidson and John Davidson. Survivors include her Husband: Grover Meadows of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandsons: Kevin (Cortina) Meadows of Gainesboro, TN, and Kenneth Grover Meadows, Jr. of Algood, TN; and 2 Sisters: Betty Craigmile and Barbara Jo (Ralph) Sanders, all of Lebanon, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Terry Newberry will officiate at the services.
