Funeral services for Lucille Lawson, 93, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born February 16, 1927, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Will P. Meadows and Mary Jane Jones Meadows. She was married to the late Charlie O. Lawson, who passed away April 10, 1986. She was a nurses aide and home health aide, and a member of the Stone Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Marshall Baugh Lawson; and 4 Step Children: Betty, Billy, Bobby, and Barbara. Survivors include 3 Daughters: Lyda Wright of Gainesboro, TN, Linda Young of Gainesboro, TN, and Katherine (Crickett) Loftis of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Theresa Maynard of Cookeville, TN, Denise Bates of Cookeville, TN, Keith Young of Cookeville, TN, Kelly Young of Michigan, and David Coffee of Gainesboro, TN; 6 Great Grandchildren; Special Nieces: Sue Carmack, Betty Herold, and Thelma Cripps; and Special Nephew: Mack Hopper.
