Memorial services for Mr. Loyd Taylor Kendall, 75, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 2 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1937, in Granville, TN, to the late William A. Kendall and Mary Emma Kendall. On June 1, 1956, he was married to Martha Morphis Kendall, who survives. He was an appliance business owner, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Brenda Gambrell. Survivors include his Wife: Martha Morphis Kendall of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: David Glen Kendall and wife, Rita, and Floyd James Kendall and wife, Terrie, all of Nashville, TN; 1 Daughter: Barbara Jane Kendall of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren.
