Funeral services for Loyd Robert Walker, 50, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynn's Lick community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at his residence. He was born December 20, 1968, in Gainesboro, TN, to Lois Ragland Walker and the late William Loyd Walker. He worked in construction, and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the Tennessee National Guard. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Bill Walker; and 1 Sister: Sandra K. Walker. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Taylor and Katelyn; his Mother: Lois Ragland Walker of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Danny (Stephanie) Strickland of Hartsville, TN; 2 Sisters: Teresa Craighead of Whitleyville, TN, and Linda Jackson of Gainesboro, TN; and Special Aunt: Janet Pryor of Whitleyville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Ronald Strong will officiate at the services.
