Loyd Richmond Brown

Funeral services for Loyd Richmond Brown, 68, of Algood, Tennessee and formerly of the Flynns Lick Community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, August 15, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Brown passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2006, at Masters Health Care Center in Algood, Tennessee. He was born April 17, 1938, in Jackson County to the late Louis Brown & Irene Norton Brown. He was a farmer and a member of the Flynns Lick Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Ray Austin Brown; his paternal grandparents: Bill & Susan Brown; and his maternal parents: Frank & Annie Norton. Survivors include 1 Sister-in-Law: Shirley Brown of Sulligent, AL; 1 Niece: Linda (Sandy) Harris of Beaverton, AL; 1 Nephew: Dr. David (Portia) Brown of Harrisburg, VA; 2 Great Nephews: Andrew and Ian Brown of Harrisburg, VA; 1 Great Niece: Carrie Brown of Harrisburg, VA; 4 Aunts: Doris Haile, Zella Morrison, Rebecca Brown, and Alma Brown; 2 Uncles: Frank Norton and Arvil Norton; & his cousin and caregiver: Susan Dudney of Cookeville, TN.
