Loure Barlow

Loure Barlow was born November 10, 1942 in Celina TN and she passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 79.  

Mrs. Barlow was the daughter of David Loyd Goolsby and Susie Ila Goolsby.  She was a retired factory worker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Loure was preceded in death by parents, husband, Thomas Owen Barlow who died April 15, 2013, grandchild, Stephanie Michelle Gruel, brothers, Thomas Jr. Goolsby and Harlon Lee Goolsby and sister, Wanda Rose Brown.

Survivors include son, Charlie Dwain Barlow of Gainesboro, daughter, Susan Elaine Eudaley of Charlotte, TN; brothers, Troy Richard Goolsby and David Caleb Goolsby both of Michigan, sisters, Martha Ann Burton of Michigan; Virginia Louise Blaken of New Tazwell, TN, and Barbara Wheeler Endsley  of Gainesboro; grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Barlow and Matthew Dylan Barlow  both of Gainesboro and Nicholas Alexander Gruel of Nashville; two great grandchildren, Samuel Dwain Barlow and Oakley Grace Barlow.  Other relatives and many friends also survive.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022,  4-9 pm and Monday 10 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022 at 1 PM at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Heady officiating.  Burial will follow in Turkeytown Cemetery.
