Louis Arnold Hix

Louis Arnold Hix was born February 8, 1949, in Gainesboro, TN and he passed away at Livingston Regional Hospital on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the age of 76.

Louis was the son of the Will Calvin Hix and Ozina Dean Hix. He enjoyed farming and being outdoors, and he was also a veteran of the US Army. 

Mr. Hix was preceded in death by his parents; brother: William "Billy" Hix; sister: Suzie Hix and four infant brothers.

Survivors include his son: Scotty (Cristal) Hix of Cookeville, TN; daughter: Candy (Richard James) Hix Mullins of Gainesboro, TN; mother of his children Wilma Tinsley of Hilham, TN; sister: Ethel (Carl) Reagan of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren: Kirsten Hix, Peyton Hix, Grayce Hix, Ashley Lanae Thompson; Great grandchildren: Matti Thompson, Cade Thompson, Christian Thompson, Brock Thompson, Landen Hatcher, Nephews and nieces: Shelia Reagan, Kevin, Reagan, and Jerry Michael Gilford. Other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 10 am until time of services. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Flynn Cemetery.
