Funeral services for Mrs. Loretta Williams Daniels, 66, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Clay County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 - 9 P.M. and on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born May 23, 1944, in Hazard, KY, to the late Bob Williams and Mary Williams. She was a factory worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: H.S. and Chester Williams; and 1 Sister: Viola Sarly. Survivors include 1 Son: Carvel Daniels of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Step-Sons: Robert Daniels and Paul Daniels, both of Indianapolis, IN; 1 Step-Daughter: Brenda Combs of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Brothers: Red and Butch Williams, both of Indianapolis, IN; 6 Sisters: Dorothy Rowdy, Linda Rowdy, and Nita Newby, all of Indianapolis, IN; Jackie Williams of Hazard, KY; Mahaley Fryman of Gainesboro, TN; and Janie Napier of Gainesboro, TN; and 11 Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Rev. Shannon Hammock will officiate at the services.
