Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Virginia Bean, 72, of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, October 25, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Bean passed away on Monday, October 23, 2006, at her residence in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. She was born April 19, 1934, in Clay County, Tennessee, to the late Garland Reecer & Ora Blakely Reecer. On September 22, 1976, she was married to Robert L. Bean, who survives.. She was a homemaker and a member of the Dodson Branch Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Fallen Leaf Blakely, Noble Dean Long, and Gladys Reecer. Survivors include her husband: Robert L. Bean of the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County; 2 Sons: Johnny Milton of Alabama and Dennis Milton of Washington, D.C.; 1 Step-Son: Robert D. Bean of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Norene Milton of South Carolina and Shirley O'Brian of Illinois; 2 Brothers: Joe Frank Reecer and Jerry Dean Reecer, both of Clay County, TN; and 2 Sisters: Anna Lee Blakely and Josephine Williams, both of Clay County, TN. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive, as well as 3 Step-Grandchildren. Bro. Frank Davis & Bro. Jim Phillips will officiate at the services.
