Funeral services for Miss Lois Loftis, 89, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. She was born June 16, 1924, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Dallas B. Loftis and Gennette "Nette" Chaffin Loftis. She was a factory worker at Heavy Duty Mfg., and a member of the Morrison Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Glenda McBroom. Survivors include 1 Sister: Christine (Horace) Jones of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Nephews: David (Pamela) Jones of Chattanooga, TN, and Tony (Gayla) McBroom of Cookeville, TN; 1 Niece: Peggy (Brian) Denton of Carthage, TN; 1 Brother- in-Law: Royce McBroom of Cookeville, TN; 3 Great Nephews: Ethan Denton, Anthony (Philusa) McBroom, and Andrew McBroom; and 1 Great Niece: Emma Denton.
