Logan Cantrell

Funeral services for Mr. Logan Cantrell, 78, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A. M. - 9 P. M. and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Cantrell passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at his residence. He was born February 20, 1929, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Logan Davis and Vada Cantrell. On April 3, 1951, he was married to the late Vena B. Cantrell, who passed away April 22, 2005. He was a retired factory worker at Russell Stover. He was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ, where he previously served as an elder. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Lester Davis, Leonard Davis, and Leo Davis; 1 Sister: Lora Davidson; 1 Grandson: Joey Scott Way; and 1 Niece: Betty Jean Poteet. Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Mike and Geneva Cantrell of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Daughters and 3 Sons- in-Law: Judy Cantrell of Gainesboro, TN; Brenda and Carl Call of Gainesboro, TN; Sandra and Kim Way of Bloomington Springs, TN; & Michelle and Rellon Burris of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Amy (Jeromy) York, Ambre (Jeremy) Kirby, Ashley Call, Blake Call, Katie Way, Kendra Burris, Dakota Burris, Andrea Burris, and Andrew Burris; 1 Niece: Joyce Wallace; and 2 Nephews: Marshall Larry Davidson and Kenneth Davidson. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. John Mabery will officiate at the services.
