Liza Coffee

Liza Coffee was born August 3, 1936, in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Overton County Health and Rehab in Livingston, TN, at the age of 86.

She was the daughter of the late Tommy William Hamlet and Affie Mae Phann Hamlet. She was married to the late Raymond Coffee, who passed away on December 19, 1983. She was preceded in death by brothers, Estin Hamlet, William Hamlet, Charles Hamlet, Carlos Hamlet and James Hamlet. She was a retired housewife, and a resident of the Harmony community.

Survivors include her Daughters: Joe Ann (Donald) Sheley of Gainesboro, TN, and Maggie (Frank) Loftis of Gainesboro, TN; Brother: Ray Hamlet of Crossville, TN; Sisters: Ruth Smith of Lebanon, TN, Lorene Pursell of Florida, and Lucille Fitts of Alexandria, TN; Grandchildren: Thomas Sheley of Gainesboro, TN, Jeff (Tsuruyo) Sheley of Murfreesboro, TN, Frank Loftis, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN, James (Berta) Loftis of Indiana, and Sam Raymond Rowland of Indiana; several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Scott Red Hill Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County.  Private family and extended family visitation will be on Sunday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and public visitation will be on Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services.  Bro. Mike Fox will officiate the service.
