Funeral services for Lisa Gail Flynn, 43, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, January 17, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 P.M. - 9 P. M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born July 6, 1970, in Cleveland, OH, to Ina Smith Scantland Flynn and the late Major Joe Flynn. She was a loan specialist at First Tennessee Bank, and a member of The River Community Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Jerry Michael Flynn and Randy Joe Flynn; Maternal Grandparents: Clure and Bertha Scantland; and Paternal Grandparents: Walter Fowler and Ruby Flynn. Survivors include her Mother: Ina Smith Scantland Flynn of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Sandra Jean (Johnny) Richardson of Hendersonville, TN; 1 Nephew: Travis Richardson of Hendersonville, TN; 1 Niece: Amanda (Travis) Baliel of Smyrna, TN; 2 Great Nephews: Brandon and Bradley Baliel; Special Friend: Brenda Montgomery of Cookeville, TN; and 2 Special Little Dogs: Millie and Lizzie.
