Funeral services for Linda Jean Dailey, 75, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born October 13, 1944, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Arthur Hamlet and Elizabeth Allen Hamlet. On June 8, 1963, she was married to the late Joe Frank Dailey, who passed away August 17, 2020. She was a factory worker and homemaker, and associated with the Cummins Mill Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Bobby Dailey; 5 Brothers: Clyde Hamlet, Willie Hamlet, BA Hamlet, Charles Hamlet, and Joe Hamlet; and 3 Sisters: Carrie Green, Ruby Wasil, and an infant sister. Survivors include 1 Son: Billy Dailey of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Donna Martin of Cookeville, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Paige Locke, Dylan Martin, Dalton Martin, Megan Shephard, Ashley Highland, and Meleah Montez; 11 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Sister: Jewel Raines of Gainesboro, TN. Rev. Bill Haney will officiate at the services.
