Linda Faye Taylor, 61, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at her residence. She had chosen cremation. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home at this time. She was born May 14, 1952, in Ellijay, Georgia, to the late James Barney Bates, Jr. and Bonnie Rene Eller Bates. She was married to the late Louis Roland Taylor. She was an artist, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Jennifer Robin Putnam; 1 Sister: Delores Bates Hudson; and 1 Brother: Walton Bates. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Melanie C. (Alan) Gavami of Bethpage, TN; Grandchildren: Emily Robyn Praught and Michael J.
