Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Faye Brown, 73, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Signature Health Care Center in Algood, TN. She was born May 29, 1946, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Fred Long and Edna Long. On May 23, 1964, she was married to the late Joe Clyde Brown, who passed away September 9, 1997. She was a factory worker and Head Start worker, and attended the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Sandra Faye Brown. Survivors include 1 Son: Anthony (Kristi) Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Grandson: Dylan (Cameron) Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Chelsea Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Ronnie (Gail) Long of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Helen Johnson of Madison, TN, and Rosie (Ronald) Cherry of San Antonio, TX.
