Linda Dennis

Linda Katherine Dennis was born July 4, 1946, in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at her daughter’s residence in Brentwood at the age of 78.

Linda was the daughter of Henry Clay Anderson and Vida Chaffin Anderson. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lewis Dennis who passed away on April 12, 2004, and a brother, Raymond Anderson.

Survivors include her daughter, Melanie (Mark) Gaw of Brentwood; brothers, Kenneth (Audrey) Anderson and Jimmy (Linda) Anderson both of Gainesboro and Garry (Carole) Anderson of Cookeville; two grandsons, Alex Gaw and Jackson Gaw both of Brentwood. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 27, 2025, 4-7 pm and Monday, April 28, 2025, 11 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Edward Anderson and Bro. Duane Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Rash Cemetery.
