Funeral services for Mrs. Liddie B. Thomas, 77, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at her daughter's residence in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born October 22, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Martin Lewis Hensley and Prudy Ann Hensley. On January 31, 1956 she was married to the late James William "Harry Bill" Thomas. She was a factory worker at Nielsen & Bainbridge, and was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: James Noel Thomas, 1 Brother: Willis "Bear" Hensley; and 1 Sister: Barbie Sterry. Survivors include 3 Sons: William Wayne Thomas of Gainesboro, TN; Richard Gene Thomas of Smithville, TN; and Travis (Jennifer) Thomas of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Brenda (Tim) Collins of Gainesboro, TN and Linda (Ben) Crossman of Fairfield, Ohio; 12 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Sister: Margaret Newman of Ashland City, TN.
