Levi Roy Farris

Levi Roy Farris was born January 29, 1947, in Knox County, Kentucky, and he passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at his residence in Gainesboro, TN at the age of 76.

He was the son of the late John Clark Farris, Sr. and Bertha Ellen Hurst. He was a glass glazer and carpenter, and a member of the Gainesboro First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife: Hannah Teresa Kents; and Brothers: Tommy and James Goley.

Survivors include his Daughters: Robin Marie Wiles of Gainesboro, TN, Amy Elisabeth Finney (John), and Amanda Nicole Dean (Ian); Brothers: John Clark Farris, Jr. and Danny Farris; Sisters: Peggy Ann Kissel, Brenda Sue Lawson, Nita Unruh, and Juliet Calleton; Step Mother: Gladys Farris; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family has chosen cremation. Celebration of Life services will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Gainesboro First Baptist Church in Gainesboro with Bro. Kelly Stockton officiating.
