Funeral services for Mr. Leslie Paul Carwile, 85, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born September 2, 1924, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Leslie and Idella Thrasher Carwile. He was a dry cleaning presser, and attended services at Mabry Health Care Center. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Layton Carwile and James Carwile; and 1 Sister: Hazel Stafford. Survivors include 1 Brother: Lloyd (Lillie) Carwile of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Jewell (Sim) Barlow of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Rev.
