Mr. Leon Wayne Hurt, 57, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. The family has chosen cremation, with memorial services at a later time. He was born April 10, 1958, in Nashville, TN, to the late Alvin Earnest Hurt and Estelle Stafford Hurt. On July 6, 1989, he was married to Clara Elizabeth Hurt, who survives. He was a drywall finisher, and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his Wife: Clara Elizabeth Hurt of Westmoreland, TN; 2 Sons: Jeffery Daniel Hurt of Gainesboro, TN, and David Wayne Carver of Gallatin, TN; 1 Daughter: Felicia Shantea Hurt of Westmoreland, TN; 4 Brothers: Gary Hurt of Mississippi, Alvin Earnest Hurt, Jr. of Cookeville, TN, Jeffery Hurt of Hartsville, TN, and Michael Andrews of Jackson County, TN; and 1 Sister: Wendy Annette Hurt of Jackson County, TN.
