Graveside services for Mrs. Lena Suzie Mea, 96, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. She passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at Kindred Nursing and Rehab Center in Carthage, TN. She was born September 17, 1917, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jerry Ray and Rebecca Woodside Ray. She was married to the late George Mea, who passed away October 19, 1979. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Jesse Ray and Elester Ray; 2 Sisters: Ethel Davis and Lela Fox; and 1 Brother-in-Law: Albert Fox. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Betty Sue Franklin of Carthage, TN, and Pauline Turner of Lebanon, VA; 7 Grandchildren: Sherry Hubbard, Janie Pruett, Carline Stinson, Teresa Crabtree, Cindy Honaker, Debbie Taylor, and Joie Franklin; 13 Great Grandchildren: Derrick Brooks, Angie Feilds, Justin Taylor, Jay Franklin, B.J. Henley, Micah Iyer, Ben Mitchell, Jonathan Hubbard, Tabitha Mitchell, Jonas Hubbard, Cody Stinson, Kristen Huffman, and McKayla Honaker; and 9 Great Great Grandchildren: Alex Henley, Timothy Henley, Jacob Hubbard, Conley Hilemon, Carson Brooks, Kaylie Hileman, Kaitlynn LeAnn Charles, Hannah Brooks, and Addison Feilds.
