Lellie Opal Gentry

Funeral services for Miss Lellie Opal Gentry, 88, of Lebanon, Tennessee, and formerly of Jackson County, will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, November 27, 2006, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 - 9 P.M., and on Monday from 8 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home. Miss Gentry passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at Quality Health Care Center in Lebanon, TN. She was born April 19, 1918, in Jackson County to the late Henderson Brown Gentry & Polly Jane Chaffin Gentry. She was a factory worker and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Lonnie B. Gentry, Billy P. Gentry, Charlie Gentry, Herbert Gentry, and Arbie Gentry. Survivors include 1 Nephew: Coy and Mary Gentry of Lebanon, TN; and 2 Nieces: Polly Roselle Loftis of Nashville, TN, and Nellie Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN.
