Funeral services for Mrs. Lassie Oliver, 86, of Taylor, Michigan, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 P.M. - 8 P. M., and Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Rivergate Terrace in Riverview, MI. She was born March 18, 1928, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late James Ramsey and Clara Henley Ramsey. She was married to the late Newman Oliver. She was a rubber stamp maker at Superior Seal and Stamp in Detroit, MI. She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ in Taylor, MI, and the Hilham Church of Christ in Hilham, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Jewel Lumpford, Agnes Wray, and Dois Chrisman. Survivors include 1 Son: Randy Vaughn of Rommlus, MI; 2 Daughters: Teresa DelDuca of Brownstown, MI, and Teena Clark of Taylor, MI; 2 Grandchildren: Jennifer Clark and Megan Clark; 2 Brothers: James Ramsey and Hollis Ramsey, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Sisters: Velcie Johnson of Gainesboro, TN, Nadene Chrisman of Gainesboro, TN, Linda Williams of Lebanon, TN, and Sue Spivey of Rock Island, TN.
