Lary Scott Petty

Lary Scott Petty was born Feb. 11, 1932  in Jackson County, TN and she passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022 at Livingston Regional Hospital at the age of 90.

She was the daughter of Luke Scott and Della Richardson Scott.  She was a seamstress and a member of the Church of Christ. She was married to the late Roger Petty

Mrs. Petty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roger Lee Petty, brothers, Roger Scott, Lonzo Scott, Arvil Scott, Norman "Jughead" Scott and Lushon Scott, sisters, Lucy Brown, Daffo Hamlet and Clio Jones, daughter-in-law, Willene Thompson and special friend: Johnny Doney.

Lary has 4 living son's: Ronnie (Paula) Petty, Roger "Satch" Petty, Jimmy Petty, and Walter Petty; 3 grandchildren: Jimmy Lee (Marcie) Petty, Ashley Petty, and Nikki (Joe) Schroeder; step-grand daughter, Angie King, 6 great grand children: Alex Petty, Devon Petty, Christian Petty, Clay Burris, Chloe Schroeder, and Lulu Petty and special step great grandchildren as well.  Lary is survived by a host of special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022  from 10 am to 2 pm with funeral service beginning at 2 PM in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Lakeland Barham officiating.  Burial will follow in Lynn Cemetery.
