Larry Wayne Heady

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Wayne Heady, 64, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born February 26, 1953, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ed Heady and Rose Heady. On July 11, 1981, he was married to Mary Heady, who survives. He was a heavy equipment operator in the pipeline utility industry, and enjoyed playing guitar with his son. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jonathan Wayne Heady; 3 Brothers: Bobby Clay Heady, Joe "Red Joe" Heady, and Ralph McCoy Heady; and 1 Sister: Mary Prill. Survivors include his Wife: Mary Heady of Cookeville, TN; 2 Brothers: Roland Heady of Gainesboro, TN, and Danny Heady of Cookeville, TN; 4 Sisters: Judy Heady, Pam Humphery, and Brenda (Donnie) Dill, all of Gainesboro, TN, and Gayle Pharris of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Bobbie Heady of Cookeville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Ronald Strong will officiate at the services.
