Larry Wayne Gipson

Larry Wayne Gipson was born June 24, 1953, in Granville, Tennessee and he passed from this life on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his home in Granville, TN. He was 70 years old.

He was the son of Isaac Perry Gipson and Rose Way Gipson. He married Janice Gipson on July 23, 1982. He was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ in Granville, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Buddy Gipson; nephew: Jeff Brown.

Survivors include his wife: Janice Gipson sons: Seth Gipson of White House, TN, Cody (Kristin) Gipson of Silver Point, TN; Daughter: Amanda Gipson of Granville, TN; sister: Barbara (Buddie) Brown of Granville, TN; puppy: Gabby; special niece: Rene Brown of Granville, TN; grandchildren Rylie Gipson, Madilyn Gipson, Bryson Bowman, MacKenzie Toler, Braiden Gipson, Isaac Gipson, and RJ Leon. Many other friends and relatives also survive.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 17, 2024, 4 to 8 pm. and again on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 10 am until time of services. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 1 pm in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations towards the funeral expense. Donations may be made by contacting the business office of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.
