Funeral services for Mr. Landon Locke, 62, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013, at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born June 23, 1951, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jim T. Locke and Dorothy Henson Locke. On April 17, 1970, he was married to Janice Locke, who survives. He was a truck driver for the Jackson County Highway Department. He served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Germany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Charlie and Lena Locke; his Maternal Grandparents: Harvey and Georgia Henson; 1 Brother: Jack D. Locke; 2 Sisters: Sandra Spurlock and Debbie Hensley; his Father and Mother-in-Law: Edward and Mary Tinsley; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Connie Locke. Survivors include his Wife: Janice Locke of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Terilyn Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Lucas and Leeland Allen; Former Son-in- Law: Logan Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Harold (Remy) Locke of Bunnlevel, NC, David Locke of Gainesboro, TN, and Danny (Penny) Locke of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Sisters-in- Law: Bonnie Locke, Sharon Stafford, Betty Sizemore, and Maymie Hunter, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Brothers-in-Law: Richard Hensley and Jim Tinsley, both of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
