Kizziah Bybee

Funeral services for Mrs. Kizziah Kirkpatrick Bybee, 105, of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, April 5, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Bybee passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006, at the Summit Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born November 30, 1900, in Overton County to the late A.T. Kirkpatrick and Martha Christian Kirkpatrick. She was married to the late Walter B. Bybee. Mrs. Bybee was a homemaker, and a member of the Hurricane Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 8 Brothers: Radford, Claude, Fowler, Ed, H.P., Toliver, Fred & Amos Kirkpatrick; 1 Sister: Tinnie Gaw; 3 Sons: Homer, Odell & Joe Bybee; and 2 Daughters: Frances VanHooser & Modean Lawson. Survivors include 3 Daughters: Martha Kirkpatrick, Lucy (Harold) Long, and Ruth Ann Bybee, all of Old Hickory; 2 Sons: Jim (Ann) Bybee of Old Hickory and John (Verone) Bybee of Gainesboro; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
