Kit Keith Johnson, 59, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in Jackson County, TN. The family has chosen cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 4 - 6 P.M. for family and friends at the home of Steve Johnson--302 West Gipson Avenue in Gainesboro, TN. He was born October 23, 1955, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Durward Johnson and Grace Keith Johnson. He was retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Nathan and Tina Johnson; and his Maternal Grandparents: Burr and Lucy Keith. Survivors include 2 Brothers: David Johnson of Conyers, GA, and Steve Johnson of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Sue Ellen (Jerry) Spivey of Whitleyville, TN; 2 Nieces: Annasue (Josh) Collins and Kathryn Johnson; 3 Nephews: Clint Spivey, Joe (Trish) Johnson, and Jeff Johnson; 1 Great Nephew; and 5 Great Nieces.
