Funeral services for Mr. Kermith Rexford Lynn, 87, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Chaffin Cemetery in the Roaring River community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, in Gainesboro. He was born August 5, 1923, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Joe B. Lynn and Effie Berry Lynn. On September 1, 1949, he was married to Mary Rachel Lynn, who survives. He was a retired school bus driver and farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Grider Lynn and Kenneth Lynn; and 1 Sister: Barbara Boyd. Survivors include his Wife: Mary Rachel Lynn of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Jessie (Lonnie) Mabrey of Cookeville, TN, and Margaret Carroll of Avenue, Maryland; a Special Great-Niece: Marlana Lemmons; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends; and Special Family Friends: Jamie Stacy, and Johnny & Faye Pigg, all of Gainesboro, TN.
