Memorial services for Mr. Kenny Young, 71, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015, at his residence. He was born October 1, 1943, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Bill Clay Young and Bessie Young. He was married to Glenda Young, who survives. He was a convenience store owner, and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Richard Young and Hugh Young. Survivors include his Wife: Glenda Young of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Jamie (Lauren) Young of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Karen (Everette) Vanhooser of Gainesboro, TN, and Donnetta Smith of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Breanna, Kalli, and Eli Smith, and Bentley Young; 2 Brothers: Ralph Young of Gainesboro, TN, and Billy Ray Young of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Dorothy Allen of Cookeville, TN, and Wanda Dayton of Spring, TX. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
