Kenny Voorhies

Kenny Voorhies was born May 21, 1945, in Fillmore, CA, and he passed away at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, AL, on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the age of 76. He was the son of the late Elmer Voorhies and Elsie Parrish Voorhies. On December 28, 1968, he was married to Judy Manier Voorhies, who survives. He was an electrical engineer, receiving his bachelors degree from Tennessee Tech University. He served in the US Navy, and was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister: Francie. Survivors include his Wife: Judy Manier Voorhies of Huntsville, AL; Son: Gregg Voorhies of Madison, AL; Sisters-in-Law: Charlotte Ragland, Patricia Stewart, and Linda Barnes; Brothers-in-Law: James Manier, Brownie Manier, and Morgan Stewart; nephews and nieces; other relatives; and many friends. Graveside services and burial with military honors will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 1 P.M. at the Granville Cemetery in Granville, TN, with Bro. Mike Gillock officiating. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Shriners Hospitals for Children by contacting the funeral home.
