Mr. Kenneth Ray, 62, of Gainesboro, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at his residence in Gainesboro. Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date in Pikeville, Kentucky. There will be no visitation or services at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. He was born April 8, 1955 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Calvin and Mary Ray. On July 27, 1973 he was married to Marjorie Ann Ray, who survives. He was a truck driver and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and served in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Calvin Ray, Jr. and 1 Grandchild: Brenen Ray. Survivors include his Wife: Marjorie Ann Ray of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sons: Douglas Ray of Nevada, Kevin (Lori) Ray of Livingston, TN, and Kenneth (Christina) Ray, Jr. of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Rosanna Thompson of Celina, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Caleb Wall, Jacob Wall, Sarah Wall, Damian Ray, Alexandra Ray, Seth Ray, and Blake Ray; 1 Brother: Earl (Brenda) Ray; and 4 Sisters: Mary Ann (Alvin) Litton, Darlene Ray, Geneva (Roy) Parsons, and Linda (Mike) Coleman all of Kentucky.
