Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth O. Goolsby, 54, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 P.M. - 9 P.M., Saturday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Goolsby passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 28, 1954, in Jackson County, TN, to Edith Light Goolsby and the late Fred Goolsby. He was a construction worker. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Donnie Goolsby. Survivors include 2 Sons: Michael W. (Tammy) Goolsby of Tompkinsville, KY, and Brian (Angel) Goolsby of Red Boiling Springs, TN; his Mother: Edith Light Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Ronnie (Teresa) Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sisters: Kathy (Danny) Hembree of Cookeville, TN, Sue (Michael) Stacy of Gainesboro, TN, and Connie (Ronald) Scott of Celina, TN; and 5 Grandchildren: Austin, Dalton, Kenyan, Devin, and Nautica Goolsby.
