Funeral services for Kenneth Lee "Big Moe" Allen, 50, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1963, in Jackson County, TN, to Haskell Allen and the late Jo Mae Allen. He worked at Eagle Furniture, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Tom and Ora Hensley Allen; and his Maternal Grandparents: Alex and Florence Pippin Denson. Survivors include his Father: Haskell Allen of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: Tommy Joe Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Judy (Paul) Meadows of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Patricia (Terry) Boone of Cookeville, TN; 5 Nephews; and Special Friend: "Littlen".
