Kenneth Heady

Kenneth Harland Heady, age 77, was born July 21, 1946, in Gainesboro, TN. He passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at his residence in Gainesboro, TN.

He was the son of the late Clarence Herman Heady and Hazel Lee Mahaney Heady.  Kenneth worked as a carpenter for many years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Clella Heady; brothers: Clarence Heady Jr, Eddie "Bully" Heady, and Sam Heady; sisters: Dorothy Rush, Barbara Scott, Mabel Smith and Lucille Fox.  

Survivors include his sons: Kenneth Heady, Alan Heady and Harland (Ashley) Heady all of Gainesboro, TN; stepsons: Donnie Martin and David Martin both of Gainesboro, TN; brother: Mark Heady of Pueblo, CO; grandchildren: Brandon and Tyler Heady of Algood, TN, Brittany Rains of Byrdstown, TN, Seairra Heady of Sparta, TN, Kara Heady of Lawrenceburg, TN, Kourtny Heady of Lawrenceburg, TN, Kasen Heady of Lawrenceburg, TN; great grandchildren: Hunter Raines and Autumn Raines.  Many other friends and relatives also survive.

The family has chosen cremation at this time.  They will be holding a Celebration of Life for Kenneth at a later date and it will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to assist with cremation expenses.
