Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Goolsby, 67, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 3, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Goolsby passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born November 24, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Champ and Pearlie Goolsby. He was a self - employed merchant, and a member of the Gainesboro First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Leigh Garrison; and 1 Brother: Marlin Goolsby. Survivors include 1 Son: David Anthony Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Sandra (Michael) Garrison of Cookeville, TN, and Angela Dee Roark of Lebanon, TN; the Mother of His Children: Faye Goolsby of Nashville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Kendra (Joseph) Hicks, Kelley Garrison, and Michael Anthony Roark; 1 Brother: Clifton (Wilma) Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Vickey (Jimmie) Apple of Gainesboro, TN.
