Funeral services for Mr. Kelly M. Burgess, 66, of Granville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Curry's Chapel Cemetery in the Nameless community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 P.M. - 8 P. M., and on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at his residence. He was born September 21, 1945, in Cookeville, TN, to the late Walter Ray Burgess and Noda Lou Davidson Burgess. He was a carpenter, and served in the Tennessee National Guard. Survivors include 2 Sisters: Anna P. (Jonas) Ragland of Granville, TN, and Geri (Edmund) Ragland of Nashville, TN; 1 Niece: Misty (Adam) Ezell of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 Great Niece: Olivia Ezell; and 1 Nephew: Jeffrey Ragland of Nashville, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Curry's Chapel Cemetery Fund by contacting the funeral home.
