Funeral services for Kelly B. Hix, 31, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P. M. - 9 P. M., Monday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Tuesday from 10 A. M. until time of services. Kelly passed away on Friday, December 14, 2007, at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born May 19, 1976, in Jackson County, TN, to Betty S. Hix and the late Donnie W. Hix. On September 20, 2003, he was married to Christy Richardson Hix, who survives. He worked in auto body repair, and was affiliated with the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his Father: Donnie W. Hix; his Paternal Grandfather: Junior Hix; and his Maternal Grandparents: William & Ora Scantland. Survivors include his Wife: Christy Richardson Hix of Gainesboro, TN; his Mother: Betty S. Hix of Gainesboro, TN; his Grandmother: Nellie Marie Hix of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother & Sister-in-law: Tony W. and Chasity Hix of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Nephew and 1 Niece: Blaise and Kinsey Barlow; and 2 Aunts and 2 Uncles: Linda Jane and Tony Maberry of Gainesboro, TN and Jackie M. and Dennis Smith of Cookeville, TN. Other uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kelly B.
