Kathy Marie Dyer

Kathy Marie Dyer was born January 28, 1950 in Overton County, TN and she passed away on Thursday, December 16 at her residence in Jackson County at the age of 71. She was the daughter of Oscar Philips and Lela Smith Nichols. She was a school teacher and a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist Church. Mrs. Dyer was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny Phillips and Jimmy Phillips; sister, Joan McDonald. Survivors include her husband Jimmy Dyer of Cookeville; son, James (Holly) Dyer of Cookeville; daughter, Karen (Shannon) Wilson of Cookeville; brother, Rodney Phillips of Livingston; sisters, Kim Biauce of Algood, Molessia Melton of Rickman and Karen Adragna of Richmond, MI; grandchildren, Jessica, Chelsea, Daniel, Jacob, Gabriel, Gracie, Maddox, Lillianne, Eva Belle; great grandchildren, Dahren, Luna, Ezekiel, Axton, Ivy, Ariel. Graveside services will be Friday at 12 noon at Jim Lottie Smith Cemetery located at Eastport Dock Rd in Monroe, TN. Her grandson Daniel Wilson will officiate the service. No visitation is scheduled at the funeral home. Memorial donations maybe made to Jim Lottie Smith Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
