Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen M. Baker, 70, of the Harmony community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home. Mrs. Baker passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born April 9, 1936, in St. Albans, West Virginia, to the late E. Glen Bowen & Enola C. Halstead Bowen. On April 17, 1961, she was married to the late William R. (Bill) Baker, who passed away on October 13, 1999. She was a nurses' aide and a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Jerold Bowen and Harold E. Bowen; 1 Sister: Glenna Love; and 1 Son: Curtis R. Johnson, Jr. Survivors include 2 Sons: Steven W. Baker of North Carolina, and James E. Johnson of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Daughter: Anita B. Baker Finnell of Bow, New Hampshire. 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great - Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
